"Marcus was a great host! Clear and very helpful. The pictures did not do it justice on how lovely the place is. It felt lived in but we also didn’t feel like we were intruding. The calming wood fire smell greeting us when we came in set the mood for the rest of weekend. To be frank though we didn’t feel comfortable grilling cause some of the fire guards in the grill had some rusty holes. "Our group had a blast staying at this lovely house. We should have extended the stay longer. The kids had fun kayaking, pedaling, and rowing the boat which were provided by the home owner. The adults enjoyed the hot tub overlooking the gorgeous lake. The interior of the house is very modern and cozy. When opportunity arise, I’ll like to book another weekend getaway there. I’ll like to thank the host again for their hospitable services. "

"This house was perfect for our family weekend. The location was quiet and a short walk to the village, and a 10 min drive to Ellenville. The house was comfortable and well appointed. The kitchen had everything we needed and the 2 living rooms were cozy. The piano was a nice surprise. The sauna was used every day and even though though the basement smelled musty, we enjoyed having a pool table! We’re looking forward to a return trip. "

"very old , small, unfinished house . with 26 people as listed you would not have space to walk in the house . Unfortunately due to weather we couldn’t even stand out in backyard , so was pretty congested living for us. This house is more for campers, bachelor groups rather than family . Negatives- 1. No seatings in the house - all together you will have 1 small Futon sofa to seat in the house . Rest need to bring plastic chairs from basement. 2. Unfinished flooring - Flooring in both properties...
