We had a reservation at the Alder Hotel but when we got here, they said it was closed. So they put us in Resorts which is fine, but we are 4 people and they gave us a room with a Ling and tried to Jo the price. Totally ridiculous.

On check in to my room, noticed 2 dead bed bugs on pillow. Staff was responsive to my request for a change of room. No additional cleanliness problems noted during stay. I would recommend The Alder for a stay.

I had a wonderful experience at The Alder at Resorts World Catskills; it truly exceeded my expectations. The cleanliness and maintenance were exceptional, which made me feel very comfortable throughout my stay. Additionally, the atmosphere was soothing, away from the hustle and bustle of the casino but close enough to enjoy the fun whenever I wanted. The customer service was outstanding; the staff always smiled and were willing to help at all times. The rooms were spacious, well-decorated, and very clean, which contributed to making my stay even more enjoyable. Without a doubt, I prefer this hotel a thousand times over and would recommend it to any traveler seeking comfort and tranquility.

Everyone was really nice. Tacos by the bar were great - very nice surprise. Long wait for breakfast in the casino and just ok. Room was clean and quiet.

My room was quiet and had a good night's sleep, however their towels stink from some chemical they use for washing them, which was somewhat strong smell. Also, I didn't want housekeeping service so I put 'do not disturb' on doorknob but they went in anyways and moved all my stuff around and gave me more smelly towels. Also, why cant there be a covered walkway from hotel to casino? Was 3 degrees and a snowstorm when I stayed there.

Wonderful location with plenty to do right at the resort. We LOVED the amenities and the space. The only challenge we encountered was the staff at the front desk was not clear on directions to where things were on the property including our room. It took us a bit to find things. A map or someone with clearer directions would of been helpful.

We stopped for the night while traveling through the Catskills. The rooms were very clean with comfortable beds and walk-in showers. The pool is in the main casino - we did not go in but it looked fabulous and we will return when we have more time. We really enjoyed our dinner at Cellaio.
