"The host was very personable and took care to provide information of things to do around the surrounding area. However, the road to get to the hotel from Arenal was treacherous as it was mostly uphill, lots of curves and unpaved making it difficult to navigate."

"The breakfast was really nice. They had pancakes, orange juice, eggs, toast and different kinds of fruit! They made it there so it was fresh. The reception clerk was really nice and help me book transportation to the monteverde cloud forest! She also called to see if they have any guided tours and what time! I really appreciate it. I was on the second floor it was nice in the evening to look at the sunset from the balcony! Room was basic but clean. I enjoyed my stay there. Area seem safe."

"No parking as described during reservation process. I was disrespected by owner for being an assertive woman. Constantly calling another person to solve simple issues. One time visit, no return patron. Not happy."

"We enjoyed our stay and the local wildlife. The hotel is in a good location, within walking distance to a bar and restaurant. The room has an exterior entrance for privacy, was large and had a mini fridge, which is appreciated. Coffee is only available in the main communal area, which is a bit inconvenient but at least it’s available. The breakfast was plentiful and delicious!"

"Very great lodge with big room and nice size kitchen and living/dining area. Bathroom can take some improvements. Outside sunset and rainbow views are awesome. Birds were amazing too of various colors ( yellow, orange and blue). We were satisfied with the pricing and conditions. Night time dark sky with many stars was also a great touch. "

Nice cozy bed, smart TV, kitchen (microwave, 2 ring stove, fridge, sink, pots, pans, cutlery, cutting board, and such), bathroom, and sitting area both inside and outside. What makes this accommodation special is the family thatt run it. Melissa is at the front desk 12 hours a day, and she speaks fluent English and is extremely helpful. I asked her lots of questions about the different things to do in the area and she was happy to answer them, even though...
