"I’m so grateful I stopped here for a visit. Cute place with lovely staff and tons of extras. Lobby was welcoming and included a seating area for visitors. I was traveling with a poodle and everyone was shocked and happy to see a pup in the hallway. I wouldn’t have guessed there were any other animals or people here at all. The room was spacious and accessible. I’ll recommend this to anyone traveling. Families, leisure or business travel-this place is pretty perfect. "

"This is an average motel , the reason I recommend the Welch motel is , I've paid more and got less ... When you need a place to stay to shower , watch a couple movies ,and sleep .This is the place ..It's clean ,comfortable ... Not a nightmare "

"This room was recently remodeled.It was very well maintained as was the outside area. Spotless and well stocked. The gentleman running the office (Brad) was very friendly, informative about the area and a big help. It was a pleasure to stay there and the room was very budget friendly. Would be happy to stay there again whether overnight or for a longer period when we have more time. Thanks Brad!"

"The host is extremely kind and made the check in process a breeze. He even accommodated a slightly early arrival which he was well within his rights to refuse. There’s plenty of parking and free amenities like AC, cable, complimentary soap, and a little coffee maker. It’s difficult to find lodging in this area and this is a great place if you’re looking to save or in a pinch. "

"Group of eight friends stayed in cabin 6 for a weekend… we weren’t there much during the day (due to dart tournaments in LaCrosse) so didn’t use the campground facilities much. We were able to enjoy the fire pit two nights during our stay. The staff was very friendly. Would stay there again "

"Ideal spot for a family gathering of three couples -- plenty of space; plenty of those small food items you put in refrigerator door (but don't want to buy for just a two night stay). Chris is a very responsive host. And if you come with two EV's, there are two external outlets (both 110v) for slow charging. A bonus. Nearest charger is in the Food Coop parking lot in Viroqua - no charge. "
