Ski Race Weekend

This home was perfect for our group of 10. We were in town for a ski race at Mt. Lacrosse and the location of the home was perfect for easy access to the hill. There was plenty of room for everyone. We all enjoyed our stay.

Awesome view of the Mississippi

This a great clean A frame house. This was a family vacation with 5 adults and 5 kids. We had plenty of room and even space for privacy.

Nice “A” frame house situated in on bluff with an excellent view of the Mississippi River. Plenty of room for all of us. Highly recommend!

The location was a nice distance out of LaX. The house had a lot of space for all 8 of us and the kitchen was adequate for us as well. It is very close to the train tracks and ALOT of trains go by. Overall this house was nice to stay at.

Hunting Trip

House was nice and kitchen is fully stocked. Would definitely stay here again. Driveway is shared with another house and backing a boat trailer in and out is tricky but doable. The view of the river are incredible.

Great Stay

Pictures are accurate. The kitchen needs a little updating but worked out just fine. Well stocked. If you're planning on staying here in the summer be weary of all the insects from the river. We were not able to use the firepit or the grill because there were too many flies everywhere. The property around the house can use a little cleaning/sprucing up.

Property has everything you need. Bathrooms and kitchen were stocked well. Makes being there with a large group easy. Plenty of room to spread out. Sunsets over the river are amazing!

Great cabin with wonderful views

Rented for family to attend wedding. Cabin was perfect for everyone. Would stay again if need to be in the area. Enjoyed sitting out front watching sunrise and sunset. Very pretty. Cabin very comfortable love the fireplaces. Highly recommend if need to accommodate large number.

A lovely property

Wonderful

It was exactly what we were expecting and looking for. The river/barges and trains were a hit! The chalet was totally comfortable and had the outside space we were looking for. We enjoyed a bonfire each night. Close to fun stuff for the kids and adults to do.

Wonderful view

We loved the house. The bottom floor had crickets that we had to look for and the main floor shower did not work but we would stay here again. All the pelicans, eagles, and other wildlife made it fun. The view was great and we loved all the trains.

Christmas 2022

Celebrating Christmas with family. Lots of room to spread out. Enough room for us all to be together playing board games or watching TV. But also enough room to get an-alone breather once in awhile.

The outside of the property needed a little tlc. Whatever was falling from the trees created a mess on the driveway and deck, tracked everywhere….. should be cleaned off..
