"Ideal spot for a family gathering of three couples -- plenty of space; plenty of those small food items you put in refrigerator door (but don't want to buy for just a two night stay). Chris is a very responsive host. And if you come with two EV's, there are two external outlets (both 110v) for slow charging. A bonus. Nearest charger is in the Food Coop parking lot in Viroqua - no charge. "

"The cabin was perfect for our stay. It’s was so clean, had everything we needed for four relaxing days. The porch was perfect for coffee in the morning and reading - even though it was pretty chilly. Nuthin’ a parka couldn’t handle. My husband trout fished in the morning and evening, and we had great meals in Viroqua, which is such a cool city!"

"Beautiful, peaceful, interesting, and lovely location and property. Lots of birds and deer. Nice trails. Cabin was quiet, quaint, and private. Visitor Center staff were kind, engaged, and knowledable. Neat displays and information. Enjoyed learning about Norwegian heritage and history. Property manager provided great communication. Signage to property was also helpful. I had a wonderful stay and will definitely visit again."

"Cozy cottage with enough room to sleep at least 10 people. Full kitchen to make all meals. Very clean and super cute. We had a relaxing couple of days over Thanksgiving weekend. It was cold but we hiked Wildcat Mountain, the Ice Cave Trail as well as many spots in the Kickapoo reserve. Beautiful Amish country with cool antique shops around. We visited Wildthings Furs right around the corner and bought affordable furs. We also found some treasures at the Amish Walmart. The reception is...

"If you're looking for a place just to sleep and be one with nature this is it! Kinda like glamping. There was mice poop everywhere, it's that time of year, didn't scare us. But their was no forks, towels, napkins, they only provided 1 trash bag we went through in a hurry and had to use grocery bags for garbage. Ran to gas station for forks and paper towels. The oven dorsnt wirk, so took 4 hours tobake a 20min bitter braid. Other than thst a good place to rough it and relax"

"Wow - i could not be more impressed with our stay this past weekend. Absolutely breathtaking setting, wonderfully secluded cabin, and the rental itself was the perfect blend of rustic and well-appointed. Being able to smoke foods out on the porch and enjoy the Jacuzzi in front of a picture window was spectacular. Can't wait to return!"

"This is a very nice cabin to stay in. Everything was clean, up to date and had everything we needed. We stayed during a snowy weekend and the sidewalk and driveway were plowed and shoveled so we could come/go as needed. The owners were great to work with and we enjoyed visiting the local towns. Five Stars from us!"

"We are a five woman pool team, and this house gives us plenty of room to spread out, relax, play games, and we love th hot tub location in this cabin as opposed to the others. Any noise does not affect the others that may be sleeping. Two TV's is a plus and plenty of linens. Thank you for the opportunity to enjoy this wonderful cabin!"
