Rental house in a quiet country setting-1.5 miles from Coon Valley, WI. 2 Bedrooms with queen beds, loft with tv area and queen murphy bed, Fully furnished kitchen, 2 full baths, linens provided, AC, Cable, Wireless, Washer/Dryer, Gas Grill on deck, Towels/Washcloths provided, Vacuum cleaner, magazines, books, games, flat screen television, three porches for relaxing, private backyard/fire pit, hiking trails available on property.

A very quiet, relaxing setting. Close to world class trout fishing streams, bicycling trails, road cycling, snowmobiling, and cross country ski trails.

New for 2015* I have remodeled an additional bedroom Suite on the basement level of the Villa. This has a Queen bed, bathroom/shower, couch, kitchenette area with refrigerator, microwave, and coffee maker. T.V., wireless, and private patio area. This rents for an additional $100.00 per night. Pricing listed here does not include this suite. This suite is only rented to the regular Villa occupants for more space.

Beautiful home set in hilly and wooded surroundings with a stream just outside the house. We discovered two waterfalls, but our outdoor activities were limited due to the time of year. Would love to go back in spring to enjoy the foliage and outdoor activities. The house was well stocked not only with necessities, but lots of unexpected extras. Thank you, Pete, for a great stay!

Perfect for visiting family
Great space, great area, and so thankful this was pet friendly. The park down the road had a walking path that was perfect for our dogs to get out and exercise. Definitely hoping we will be welcomed back!

Great property!
This villa was perfect for our family of five while we were in the area for Christmas. The property was very clean, and the views of the surrounding bluffs were beautiful. The only minor issue was the toilets made a high pitched sound after flushing, but this was not a huge issue for us. We would definitely stay here again!

Great location for any season to explore the coulee region! We stayed in Feb 2021, so did some winter hiking, and exploring of neighboring small communities. This home was very well kept, clean, cozy, and a great location. Thank you for a great stay!

4th of July Getaway
Overall, we really enjoyed our stay. Sitting on the front porch and looking at the trees and hills was a wonderful reprieve from life in the city. Communication with the host was excellent.

Love the villa. It was perfect for the bunch of us from Illinois. We planned the stay for a Family Reunion in LaCrosse. Once we arrived it was a perfect place for our reunion and Pete( property owner) agree to let us have it there instead! We had a great time with the family and are planning to do it next year too.

Wonderful stay out in the woods in a beautiful home
We had an incredible visit to the Villa at Waterfall Vineyards and will definitely be back. Trails that start on the property, cute town a short walk away and just overall a very welcoming experience. The owners were extremely accommodating and friendly and it was the perfect get away for our girls weekend... 6 of us were the perfect fit for this place! I would highly recommend a stay here - in fact, I'm strongly considering bringing my family back in the fall. It's fabulous!

Time for Friends
A chance for friends to get away. Hosts were friendly and helpful. Even the dogs liked us. Coffee on the veranda watching the wildlife was something to be cherished. This home had all we needed. Nearby restaurants were enjoyed. Had a great bonfire to sit around and relax. Will definitely come back.

Home is clean and very comfortable. Easy to get to and not far from LaCrosse. Kitchen is well stocked with pans and dishes. Had a family of deer come close to the house each day. Check in and checkout were simple. Owner stopped by the first evening to see if we needed anything because there had been a thunderstorm earlier in the day and had knocked out power in the area for awhile. Very good place to rent

Peaceful Getaway
My husband and I enjoyed a quiet weekend together at the Villa to celebrate our Anniversary. The home was charming with a "contemporary meets farmhouse" look with a wonderful front porch and several decks to view the beautiful landscape. We appreciated all the amenities and well-stocked kitchen as well as the friendly welcome of Pete and Nina. We sat by the beautiful waterfall on the property, visited a few antique stores as well as a local winery, and enjoyed a little road trip to find round barns in the area. (4 of the 14 are near Westby and Viroqua) Peaceful weekend. Wonderful time. Would definitely consider coming again!

Excellent accomidations and service!
I stayed at this property with my Dad, brother and uncle for 7 days of trout fishing and golf. We were very pleased with how clean the villa was and its "like new" appearance. It is a modern dwelling with Wi-Fi and plenty of electrical outlets for all of our laptops and phones. There is a 42" LCD TV, DVD, and cable. There are 2 queen beds that are comfortable and 2 pull out single beds that my brother and I each slept on. The pull outs were as good as can be expected. The 2 bathrooms were also a major enhancement. All pillows, sheets and towels were provide and very clean. The washer and dryer was very handy! In years past we stayed at Cooley Cabins but this will be our new go-to place to stay for trout fishing!

There were a few things that did not add up to the description. The microwave was completely unusable (broken and unable to work), the check in process was interesting as we never got our own key, and he had his son renting the basement quarters. He was doing his laundry there when we arrived. All very unexpected for our stay. A little communication goes a long way. We made the most of it and he is a nice man and has a nice dog(Caesar- 15 years old ) that will show up at the home.

Beautiful property
We had a great stay. Clean, well outfitted, the microwave has been replaced. The pitbull (mentioned in recent reviews) did wander over, but he is elderly and friendly, not at all threatening. The bedding and towels were good quality, and smelled like fresh laundry! Was nice to put the teens upstairs and get some distance from them since we're awake a lot earlier. It was odd that the downstairs apartment is offered for rent in the description, seemed there was a young adult couple living in the downstairs apartment, however they left the afternoon we arrived and returned Sunday morning before we checked out so we had the villa to ourselves most of our stay. Loved sitting on the front porch listening to the small stream in the side yard. We hiked the trails, and found the one leading to the top of the bluff, trailhead is on the highway if you turn right/uphill out of the property's lane.

Great Rural House Close to La Crosse
We stayed at the Villa for the weekend of our daughter's graduation from UW-L. We were able to bring our two small dogs along, which was a huge plus. This property is nicely appointed and clean. Very comfortable. Kitchen is spacious and the grill right up on the porch made our cookout easy, even though the weather was uncooperative. Only concerns - the neighbors have curious pit bulls who seem to have the run of the area. One we mentioned it, the neighbors did seem to keep them away from our property. The second is that the furnace would not produce heat. We did have a cool night where it would have been nice, but it was not a deal breaker. All in all, a great stay in a nice, quiet, secluded property. Thanks!
