"I enjoyed my stay at this Location. Beds were Comfortable Room was Clean The Young Lady at the Desk at Night was very Rude and Unprofessional no name tag so I could not get a name. Room Got mixed up with a Smoking and I reserved a non smoking room Shower head was broke so we had low water pressure. Also I requested a room on the bottom floor because I am disabled but the young lady did not take that under consideration. Other than that. Enjoyed my stay. I recommend this Place Right...

"The room was not super dirty but it wasn’t clean. It was an open cup of noodles under the Kitchen sink, dried up ketchup on the table and stains on the floor. We got the room for super cheap and you get what you pay for. It was people yelling at each other in the hallway shortly after we arrived. Just overall ghetto. Signs in the lobby that you have to check in by 5pm or bi refund. I will not take my family there again. Just glad to have survived the one night. "

"The only issue was that the people above me were very loud. The first night I stayed there, it sounded like they were dropping weights on the floor. There were no issues the second night. "I like this hotel. Stayed there twice. The only thing i would change is the shower/tub combo. I prefer a walk in shower. The shower curtain didn’t close properly so water was all over the floor. The carpet needs updating or a very deep clean especially in the elevator. It’s very dirty and has a musty smell in the elevator. Everything else is good. Friendly staff. "

"Proximity to the airport. They clean your room every other day which is nice. I didn’t love that some of the things were thrown away that I didn’t need be thrown away. An example- We had children Zyrtec tablets out and they were gone when we came back. Little things like that. Otherwise all good. It was perfect for my little family. Rooms got cold. Water was hot for showers. "

Virginia State University is a public, historically black college located in Petersburg, Virginia. The university is the first fully supported, four year institution for African Americans in the United States and is one of two land-grant colleges in the State of Virginia. The university was founded on March 6, 1882 as the Virginia Normal and College Institute after the state legislature passed a bill sponsored by Delegate Alfred W. Harris, a black attorney, which chartered the university. The state established the university to serve the needs of a population that was at the time excluded from other public institutions in Virginia. Virginia Normal and College Institute opened as a teacher training college for both male and female black students but it also included a modest liberal arts curriculum. @ Virginia State University
