"The room was lovely, warmnand comfortabe. I stayed for 3 nights, each night inreturned it had been cleaned, newbtea / coffee etc. The food downstairs was really nice. The only downside - BOOK IT DIRECTLY WITH THEM NOT ON 3RD PARTY SITE. If booked direct it includes belreakfast if younbook via any other website breakfast is not included"

"This hotel was a bit like going back in time 20 or 30 years. It had good parking (though I didn’t use this as I came by train), great service from the owners, a lovely open fire and an excellent breakfast. My room was quite small but it had everything I needed and was fine for 1 night. "

We didn't see anyone at all throughout our stay other the cleaner on the morning that we were checking out. Maybe because it wax Christmas Day and Boxing Day. "

I had many emails confirming booking and one of the phone numbers listed took me to an irate gentleman who had not been involved with the hotel for 2 years. Need to check that all numbers are valid. The room was very nicely furnished and presented but the blind was impossible to raise so no natural daylight available.
