"This Hotel is owned by the 5 Star Grand Hotel Zermatterhof and you have access to their facility at a cost. The Alpina does not have a Front Desk, so you must go to the 4 Star Hotel Tannenhof for Check In and such. Nice Affordable Hotel."

"Not sure it was clear that my room had a shared bathroom. HOWEVER, on my floor, only 3 rooms shared 1 bath and on the other side, 2 rooms shared another. Rooms and bathrooms are very nicely done and renovated. Sharing the bathroom wasn't a bother at all."

"Lovely, quiet B&B close to the centre of Zermatt, just over 10 minutes walk from both the train stations and the Matterhorn lifts. Room was quiet, warm and comfortable. Breakfast buffet was plentiful! Evening drinks available too (free voucher if you skip room cleaning) - the night porter was especially chatty and friendly! Would def stay again."

"I gave the property 4 stars for the age of the property, especially in the room (carpet, decor, etc.), and incrediblye tiny-ness of the bathroom-- it's smaller than RV bathrooms but gets the job done. HOWEVER, for the area and for primarily being a ski resort rental, it was way more than adequate and I'd definitely stay there again.
