"Birthday trip, staff were friendly and efficient, accommodation was clean and comfortable, we had room service for dinner and this was delivered promptly and was hot and tasty. The lakeside room was quiet and had lovely view over lake with only ducks, swans, geese, herons and Cormorants for company!"

The decor is somewhat tired but we did have a nice bright room with opening windows and adjustable radiators, which is always a plus. It would have been lovely to have some local produce, real bread rolls etc."

"We and a group of friends enjoyed a one night stay at the Feathers in February 2025. We occupied room 216 which overlooks the high st. The room was on the small side but was comfortably furnished and the bathroom was a good size and had been recently refurbished and spotlessly clean.
