"The parking is not within the property so you have to park your car in the parking lot which is 6-7 minutes walking distance from the property. Our room did not have a view from the window but it was nice. We would stay there again."

"This hotel was very old and could only accomodate 3 people at a time in each gendered onsen. These were enclosed spaces and not open air, but were beautiful. The room itself was comfortable, we chose Japanese style and it was a fun experience. The breakfast was filling and worth doing if you don't mind working to pick apart your fish."

"Our stay here was wonderful. The room was spotless and the staff were incredibly kind. The onsen is small (max 6 ppl) but that was never an issue. The included breakfast was a smallish buffet style of mostly western type foods, salads, scrambled eggs, yogurt, breads. The convenience of the location, minutes away from Gora station, made arriving and doing the Hakone loop so easy! Lovely spot overall. "

We wish was that in them knowing we had a vehicle, that they were able to direct us to a nearby parking lot with affordable pricing. The signs are confusing at times. We ended up paying ¥3400 the first night for overnight parking and ¥6100 the second night in the nearby lots. Other than that, the room was clean except a little black mold near the AC unit. Deep. cleaning could be better. Happy with our 2 night stay...

"Dust in the corners of the room. Toilet seat was moving and getting detached. No mugs in the room, we went to reception and asked for it. Location was quiet and close to train station. "

We resorted to opening the balcony windows and turning the heat off. Other than that the room was clean and an enjoyable space. "

"A few minutes walk after the train, up a doable hill past the open air museum which is a great highlight of the guesthouse. The irori dinner needs to be ordered in advance with limited seating & was a sweet experience where I got to wear a pretty yakuta for the first time, I just didn’t know what was the right way to wear it.
