Noise through the walls , could easily here people talking loud and snoring, noise at 3am 4am 5am from floor above . They didnt accept, however luckily they allowed me to change room for 4th floor, which I accepted and there the vibrations could not be heard, just extremely loud street noise intercom outside of the room."

"Nice relaxing stay. A little bit hard to get to, especially with luggage as the bus gets very crowded. No food options nearby (need to take the bus or a 20min walk along a narrow mountain road to nearest store) so make sure to bring some food if you plan to eat onsite."

Makoto, Ana, and Karen are the nicest staff ever, we extended out stay multiple days because we met other amazing people staying at this hostel and became very familiar with Kamakura. Kamakura should be a multi-day trip and you should definitely stay at Iza Kamakura House if you want a really comfortable and laid back place to stay. "

"There's no private bathroom in the room. Most Japanese accommodations provide a yukata robe, especially for when accessing common bathroom facilities. This property had none to offer. I would not recommend this accommodation to anyone who has physical limitations, such as difficulty walking as there is a very steep switchback to access this property. Also there was no signage so I easily got lost. The facility itself is quiet, but the announcements from the train station carries all the way to...
