"On the positive side, staff were very helpful at offering to print my airline boarding pass. The young man took very good care of the breakfast room. There was lots to eat and the coffee was good. Most of all, the bed was comfortable. It's close to a residential area and we were able to kill some time going for a walk. On the downside, the A/C was very loud; the toilet had a slow leak; one of the lights above the bed was not working; maintenance may be an issue."

"It is a great location and is just steps away from all the tourist attractions. The building is old, and the bathroom is quite small. However, the staff is very friendly and willing to accommodate your needs and respond to your requests. You get what you pay for. It's a nice place to stay if you're looking for something decent at an affordable price. If you're looking for a fancy place to show off on Instagram, this is not for you."

"For a fraction of the cost of the Frontenac you can enjoy the same piece of real estate and view as your neighbor. Communication with the staff was excellent making our late arrival a breeze. It’s an old historic building with its squeaks but is kept immaculately clean. Would love to return. "
