"Was a unique experience. No reception. No bar. No Dining Room. No on site parking. Communication was excellent with door code and security keys and mobile number in case of emergencies. The house was very welcoming with a Christmas tree and carols being played and as the house has a "no shoes" policy it would have been more convenient to have a dedicated area for changing footwear rather than the very tiny lobby area. "lovely stay and great staff, breakfast could of been warmer but good quality of food. We stayed in the stable courtyard area of the castle right opposite the restaurant and bar which was lovely for a chilled drink etc Room recently refurbed with walk in shower and tea making facilitys etc and extra bonus castle entrace is included in stay Stayed before and im sure we will again "

"Great food options both for evening meal & breakfast. The bed was very comfortable (room 24) however the bathroom extractor fan took an eternity to go off & it was noisy! The fan itself needed a good hoover. Shower also disappointing very little pressure, difficult to get a good temperature. Decor tired. The staff were very friendly & helpful. The tea/coffee room facilities were excellent. The flask of milk & water very much appreciated. Thank you. "

"Very friendly pub. The room is well presented with modern comforts. It has retained its natural beauty with exposed wooden beams, a large fireplace in the pub and locally produced food and beverage. Would recommend. "

"Host Deb was friendly but this did not compensate for a room and house that smelt stale- a mix of dog and cigarette smoke. Keeping the windows open meant lots of noise from the busy road. Shower tray was blocked. Doesn't offer actual breakfast (as advertised) but was offered some toast. Generally poor experience."

"The Coach House is absolutely amazing, so much attention to detail. There was 12 of us in total and everyone of us thought it was fabulous. Brian & Sarah were excellent and we wanted for nothing. We would highly recommend The Coach House. There was so many things to do in the grounds but sadly the weather didn’t let us. We were able to make full use of the hot tub and the sauna. There was more than enough entertainment for us all in the house. A very big thank you to Brian & Sarah. "
