"I would like to have given 5 star for service as when we ordered food from the bar the staff were attentive, polite and very friendly and couldn’t do enough for us. However earlier in the evening I called the restaurant from the room to book a table, when I had only said hello I was met with a very abrupt ‘the line is terrible’ to which I stated ‘I’m sorry I’m calling from one of the phones in the rooms’. "We enjoyed our two night stay. The hotel has recently been refurbished and is spotless and the choice from the buffet breakfast is super. The hotel is well situated to the centre and being ablr to park the car (although charged) is helpful."
