"A lovely one night stop over while visiting the Chippenham area with friends. The pub is in a quiet village and has nice outdoor seating overlooking the river. The staff were friendly & helpful and the service good. Our room was comfortable, with ' free' tea/ coffee and home- made cookies (very nice). Breakfast was freshly cooked to order and fruit / cereal/ pastries were available. We really enjoyed our stay"

The check in was straight forward and you're given a printed sheet to put in the front of the car to cover parking in the pay & display at the rear of the building. The room was small but comfortable and clean and nicely decorated. There were fresh towels and plenty of tea & coffee.
