"This was basic - and I knew that. This was my first time here and so didn't know what to expect. I had room 25 - ensuite toilet that had a shower literally in it. Who cares because the water was HOT and housekeeping changed your sheets every day. My room looked over the side alley with a good window that blocked sound. "Hotel is in the heart of amsterdam. Very clean. Staff are on hand 24/7 and really friendly. Rooms are exactly what you pay for. Beds are a little small for a man like me but i knew what id paid for as this is my 3rd stay here. Overall 9/10. Only gripe is they could do with a drinks vending machine for late at night. But thats me being lazy as there is a mini mart a 2 minute walk from the hotel or you can buy at the bar. Food and drinks very reasonably price. 10/10"
