We booked two nights at the bamboo house, via Hotels.com, with the idea of hiking Mount Batur. Presumably like many other people visiting the area. We booked the king size deluxe room, the one with the triangular bamboo ceiling/roof, which was twice the price of a standard room. When we arrived we were shown to a standard room. "Not in a very convenient location, but besides that it's a great hotel, and the staff were very friendly! It also has a restaurant in the hotel so while there's not many restaurants nearby, at least you can order food at the hotel. Also the room and hotel were just absolutely beautiful! Kintamani was amazing as well"

"Nice spacious room. No hot shower but they have a hot shower in the thermal pool area. 5 hot thermal pools and 1 cold pool. Hot pools are drained every night and fresh water added so no chemicals used. Nice relaxing location. Would stay here again. Value for money and easy to organise day trips to the lava fields, lake and mountain"
