"Perfect place to get out of loud cities in Bali and explore a totally different climate and view. I was astonished by the mountains right behind the rooms. Staff were accommodating and helpful. A bit secluded if you got no transport, but I enjoyed the quiet and serenity."

"Perfect location specially if you like snorkeling. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Beautiful terrace with magnificent views of the volcano and beach. This is the place to be. "

"Beautifully located right on the lake with views of Mt Batur and surrounding mountains. Bungalows are simple but clean. Hosts Putu & Kadec we’re wonderful. They made me feel very welcome and were very helpful and generous. I highly recommend staying with them. "

"This was our 4th stay in Sebatu; previously at an adjacent but now closed property. We chose Uma Kelod due to it's location, solid and modern appearance and great value tariff. The room was adequate, clean and well maintained. It had only basic facilities - a jug with basic coffee and tea, a regular TV, adequate AC (but no fans), and a small bar fridge. "Summary We'd recommend the Bamboo house for one night specifically to the do the hike only. Go for the cheapest room. We booked two nights at the bamboo house, via Hotels.com, with the idea of hiking Mount Batur. Presumably like many other people visiting the area. We booked the king size deluxe room, the one with the triangular bamboo ceiling/roof, which was twice the price of a standard room. When we arrived we were shown to a standard room. "I hope the property owner and management take these comments as constructive criticism. 1. Although the stepping stone pathway may look sweet. The uneveness made walking to room uneasy. 2. "First room I got water was dropping from AC then the guy changed me. There is not enough light in the room and in the washroom my wife could not see her face properly at night from the mirror as Light is not enough and one light is fused. In the washroom there is open to sky so AC can't cover ..after 9 pm there is no people for service... The care taker is stinky. First day My wife was trying to connect her phone for changing she got electric shocks ..She hurt ...anyway...I won't recommend...

"Located right by the beach, about a 75m walk from the main road (although a bit hard to find when arriving at night). Staff seemed a little disorganised (I wasn’t advised that my stay included breakfast until the last night) and the room I received was not the one booked. Originally at checkin they advised me they were full, even though I had booked and paid in full. "One of the best hidden gem in Kintamani area. This place has best view of mountain and lake. All staff is very friendly & helpful. The access to property is a bit confusing, you should ask around in case if you got lost. But it’s super worth it. I want to come back again for sure!"

"Great service, stunning view from the room. Met all my expectations ❤️ I was delighted! All the hotel staff are very polite, welcoming, friendly, they immediately try to help with any issue, very friendly and smiling. The service was top notch. Based on their greeting, they immediately brought a cocktail, fruits and sweets before I entered my room, and when they treated me, they also gave me a very cute set 🥰 I have never seen such service in any hotel before. I would like to especially praise Hanna, the hotel employee who met me on the very first day and met me in the room. Very polite, friendly, sincere and kind 🥰 thanks to her, my first impressions of this place were like this. She was very kind and sincere in everything until the last thing she did for me ❤️ The restaurant staff Suta, Tria, Adid, Desa were also very kind and attentive. I would also like to note Kartika. She organized all the tours, took me to amazing and very beautiful places with a gorgeous view. She took a lot of beautiful photos and videos for me, like professionals. I got exceptional impressions from the trip with her, and I have a lot of amazing photos and videos as a memory ❤️ I sincerely recommend this place, you will definitely be delighted with the beauty of the hotel itself and the service manager ❤️"

"Great stay at the Oculus hotel. Food and facilities are amazing with excellent service. The hotel is located on a steep incline with lots of steps and hillu walks into Kintamanti so not recommended for someone with limited accessibility or pushchairs. We booked this hotel to do the Jeep Adventure to Mount Batur and it's a perfect location to relax and unwind away from the south madness. "
