"The property is beautifully tucked within the village with the ocean at our doorstep! We were greeted with by the friendly staff and a welcome drink. The food was fabulous! The Chef came out and chatted with us. He was warm and friendly, like the entire team. The rooms were unique with the bamboo impressed architecture with mountain and ocean views. It was the peaceful escape we had hoped for. The drive there was complete sensory overload in the most delightful way, lush foliage bursting with village life throughout our 3.5 hour drive. It was a fantastic first impression of Bali for us!"

"As a solo traveler I often find larger resorts can be/feel quite isolated - Bambootel made every effort to make me feel welcome, couldn't do enough for me and very often we're happy to stand and have a conversation about my day etc... all the staff were fun, I'm very often quite inquisitive about my life rather than me asking questions about theirs all the time... 10 out of 10 for hospitality, couldn't have asked for a better service."

"This is the most amazing hotel I’ve ever been to. With the exception of the pool. They have a great opportunity to redo the pool as an outdoor cliffside pool with amazing views. They missed the boat on that one. But the rest of the property is 10 out of 5 stars. Absolutely beautiful. Caution: for elderly that don’t like stairs. There are lots of stairs."

"It was a fantastic experience. We used the Puri Nadi Heated Pool Villa, and the pool in the room was very large and the water quality was good. The breakfast and dinner course tasted great, too. All the staff were kind and the cleanliness of the hotel was excellent. If I ever visit Ubud again, I would like to visit there again."
