"Everything was amazing, from the communication, transport, location and the villa itself. We felt pampered and literally cried when we had to go home. Our driver Kadek gave us fabulous suggestions on places to visit in the area and kept us safe in the busy traffic. He shared stories and helped us to understand the area better and we loved him. Kadek the manager showed us the village and local homes, we were able to visit cows and pigs and chickens and learn about customs and the local temples....

"This was booked as a private Villa with its own private pool, however we were disturbed by the owner entering the villa without being invited in which was very unnerving, especially when you open your bedroom curtains to find the owner outside your patio doors looking in. "This is the most amazing hotel I’ve ever been to. With the exception of the pool. They have a great opportunity to redo the pool as an outdoor cliffside pool with amazing views. They missed the boat on that one. But the rest of the property is 10 out of 5 stars. Absolutely beautiful. Caution: for elderly that don’t like stairs. There are lots of stairs."

"I’ll absolutely be back at Mason elephant lodge. It was the kindest service we’ve ever had. The food is amazing, the spa is amazing, and the elephants are so so happy! If you’re worried, google elephant body language. They are reproducing as well, which is a huge sign they are healthy and happy. Their keepers have been with their elephant for decades. It’s an amazing place. I can’t wait to come back. Special shout out to Oka! He is a doll. "

"It was a fantastic experience. We used the Puri Nadi Heated Pool Villa, and the pool in the room was very large and the water quality was good. The breakfast and dinner course tasted great, too. All the staff were kind and the cleanliness of the hotel was excellent. If I ever visit Ubud again, I would like to visit there again."

"We’re a couple of foodies who love quality cocktails and this place just blew our minds. Pretty much everything is locally sourced, which is bonkers considering the huge amount of creations coming from the kitchen and bar. Thanks to chef Sheandy, Arsana (bar) and Budi (butler) for making this an unforgettable experience. Would definitely come back in a heartbeat 10/10"
