"What an amazing hostel! Perfect location and lovely building, The panelled lounge full of lovely leather sofas, books and a roaring fire was particularly fine. Staff were friendly and accommodating, the beer was good and the full english veggie breakfast the ideal precursor to some stiff walking. "

"An unexpected stay here after a cancelled ferry at Heysham but what a gem, such helpful staff, off road parking, amazing food and spotless clean. Ignore any dubious reviews, yes there are tired spots but these are all far outweighed by the positives. Only a 15 minute drive to Heysham too…"

There were towels and games and WiFi was steady. However, kettle was black inside, no toilet rolls, some plastic cups with white marks and management company was closed after keys picking.
