"overall it was okay…. I didn't enjoy the carpet inside. It was clean, but the smell wasn't pleasant. The cleanliness was acceptable, but the bathroom was extremely small, about the size of airplane restrooms. There were no staff members, and everything operated on a self-service system. It took 10 minutes to walk to the nearest transportation hub. Unfortunately, there were no convenience stores near the inn, only vending machines. So, you'll need to purchase everything you need before arriving....

"It's connected to the same company's more upscale hotel called The Lively. They have a nice lounge and coworking space, even adding a pool table. The Millennials is on the 3rd floor, with no washer and dryer (need to go to The Lively on the 4th floor). Showers, washrooms and beds were extremely clean. The staff were incredibly kind and helpful when I lost my anti depressant medication at my previous hotel in Osaka (thanks Isabelle!). The only reason I give 4 stars instead of 5 is because of...

"Lovely capsule-style hotel within walking distance of Tenjin-minami station; shared facilities were clean and well-maintained, the semi-private cabins were good quality and decent size. Only downside was the inability to turn off or cover the air vent into the cabin, which meant an almost unbearably warm night's rest for one night of my stay."

"It’s a great spot but the experience feels very impersonal. I also didn’t feel very safe as the entrance to the building and overall stairway and elevator. Compared to the sounding area it felt like a council estate hiding amongst the lovely area, it was also lacking in instructions about how to collect your key and you have to wait for a reply when all I wanted to do was drop my bags off so I could grab some dinner. "Spacious, clean room. Friendly staff that actually was present at the time of my check-in. In February the room was really chilly, the heating was on all times when I was in the room. With the heating on the room was good. WC and the especially shower room stayed freezing cold, the water was hot and didn't run out. "A too-brief stay of 2 nights and 3 days in Fukuoka. It's a great city with a lot to offer. The room was clean, compact, and comfortable - if you are accustomed to Western-style hotels, be aware that the rooms are quite small by comparison. Everything worked well, including the ability to control the temperature. As the name implies, it is in the western part of the Tenjin neighborhood, close to lots of shopping and eating, and walkable (a little further) to areas such as the popular Canal City...
