"Both the receptionists were exceptionally welcoming and informative. I was concerned about parking my motorcycle and they made sure it was in view of the cameras. Really kind, thoughtful and professional. I had travelled a long distance and arrived early. I was just going to ask to park and use the facilities but my room was already available. And with a view of the Mersey. Fab."

"The staff here are excellent and very much available, you just need to press the buzzer at reception. Tv, shower, kettles all provided and great power to the shower. Looks like they are refurbishing some rooms but theres no noise. There's a small amount of traffic noise if you are roadside but not annoying. Free Wi-Fi. "

"From check in, which we were allowed to do at 1pm, when we were given our key but informed the room itself wouldn't be ready till 2, till check out which was by 10.30am we had no issues. The staff were all friendly. The pool was abit nippy to start with but it was quiet so managed to get some lengths in. Towels were provided so didn't need to take our own or the rooms. The room we had was very spacious but the lack of plug sockets was the only real let down. Bed was quite comfy but the pillows...

"A great budget hotel. I just wanted a bed for the night after a gig and this was spot on. The room was clean and comfortable. There is a well stocked bar area and another room with a pool table and games machines. Breakfast is only available Saturday, Sunday and school holidays but there are cafes at the end of the street. The lady who checked me in was lovely. I would definitely stay again if I'm in town for a gig."

"Acceptable standard but an empty building was opposite and asked about parking there aas my uncle is disabled. Sunday morning I found a PCN on my car. Quite disappointed "

" Didn’t like the demand for a £50 cash deposit against breakages as it wasn’t mentioned anywhere in the booking conditions, that said we were paid it back without issue. The hotel itself is in a good quietish location and easy to find. It was very clean and tidy. The bed was comfortable too. I would return so that says a lot. "

"Excellent visit, was our 1st time and really enjoyed it from start to finish..staff so friendly and helpful. Meals- wow!!....amazing choices...starters, main is served by waitresses and help yourself to starter and pudding...so much to choose, some night's we had just starter and pudding. Breakfast..help yourself from cooked ,cereals, fruit and toast. All drinks free as all inclusive. Rooms we had a standard twin single...bathrooms were ok in size. Fresh bedding and towels daily..more if you...
