"Only had 2 night stay half board booked a large double room but on arrival had a quadruple room no big deal as more space. All meals and breakfast were very good, Room was clean,cleaner asked on first morning if we required any fresh towels. Entertainment at night was 3 singing acts 2 were very good 1 not so good.only down side was thought bar prices were a bit high when paying at bar, think they have an alinclusive opinion but not sure on prices "

"This was an amazing stay at this hotel. You can see they are working on making the hall ways look better but the room itself was soo clean, really nicely decorated and the beds were really comfy too. The only thing I would point out is that the metal bed in room number 3 either needs tightening or oiling as it squeaks every little move made, which was a bit annoying and the toilet door just needs a bit of oil. But non of which stopped the stay been really nice. And the room was soo warm too...

"Extremely surprised to find this hidden gem of a hotel. Cited above an old pub oozing with character and history - nothing is level or plumb as was the original way of building - I bet the walls could tell some stories. Very clean and comfortable, warm and cozy. Prices good for town centre including breakfast which was also excellent."

"The place was unbelievably noisy. Value for money was good, but there were blood curdling screams at 4 in the morning when people got back in the stairwell. Insanity. We weren't expecting the ritz of course, and the staff were all friendly. Would have just liked to have not been disturbed by other guests quite as much"
