"This is an adequate place to stay if you go in with the expectation that it is a homestay, not a hotel. All staff were very friendly and courteous. The floor was quite clean but the room was very basic and old, with dirty walls. The beds were surprisingly comfortable. A light breakfast is included but other amenities listed on Expedia were not: for example, there is no daily housekeeping and no toiletries, not even soap! We did get towels and toilet paper upon request! Also note there is NO HOT...

We went White Water Rafting on the Ayung River with Bali Adventure Tours outfitter and they could not have been more accommodating to our group. The experience was truly Epic ! One thing to be aware of is the steep trek down to and up from the river. 200+ stairs... if you have weak knees or you are not in good shape you might want to think about it. Once on the river you will experience class 2-3 rapids. You are deep in the canyon and will feel very small. Theres a lot of canopy, tons of bamboo, flora and fauna. I did not feel I needed sunscreen as there was mostly shade. The water was cool to cool and a refreshing reprieve from the hot and humid climate. I would do this one again !
