The lodge is just 10 minutes away from Skipton centre and 20 minutes away from Bolton Abbey, which we had a lovely walk around. Also the fenced in area at ground level was gravel with lots of doors off and nooks and crannies where a dog might go in and be difficult to find The owner said when I emailed the next day said that they would have blocked off the railings if we had asked but we felt that going up and down these stone steps to take the dog out would have...

"This character property was very spacious, well appointed with high quality fittings and had tasteful modern decor. It was very clean too. Nice and quiet, despite being near the airport. The beds and sofas are comfy and a generous size. The sofas are all very low though, so not suitable for older people or those with mobility issues. There were lots of boardgames in the house, modern TVs with Sky and a space invaders machine. We enjoyed our stay overall, but had a few snags, hence only 4...
