I so appreciate a 12 cup coffee maker in the room that allowed me to use my own filters & coffee to enjoy whilst walking across the highway to sip by the river's edge. "living in the area, my wife and I enjoy the Kern River and the surroundings, we often tent camp but felt this time we would stay at the lodge, we have a 45lbs dog and that was no issue there. The rooms are clean and taken care of. The store acroos the street has breakfast and burgers. The place was quite and the steps to the river access is a great feature. I would recommend this 10 out of ten times. "
