"Beach Haven was a good place to stay. The pool and hot tub were great and the staff treated us very well. The location is excellent, with quick access to pacific beach and the ocean front walkway. There are some good restaurants around and lots of places to get ice cream. Some of the items such as soap etc were pretty low quality and the towels were a bit tired, but overall this places is quite good. The pool really makes it. "

"This is an old motel. However, the owners have made it super clean and comfortable. They have a nice product line in the bathroom, a comfy bed, and soft cotton sheets. I have been booking a room instead of using Lyft/Uber after a night out and 45 minutes from home. This is a great find for a reasonably priced (under the round-trip Lyft price) motel. The staff at night and then in the morning is friendly and very service-oriented."

"Wonderful comfortable and spacious room with private patio area! Full kitchen with dishwasher, full fridge, microwave, bar set, stovetop, and coffee machine! Beautiful bathroom with antifog mirror, showerhead and handheld shower, very comfortabel bed, table with 2 chairs, and beautiful full length mirror. I cannot wait to stay here on my next trip to San Diego!!"
