Older but updated and pretty bare bones but all you need! Close to everything. Morning walks around the piers were wonderful! If you plan on enjoying SD and just want a place to sleep, this will do perfectly! Great waffles!!

Room was clean and well laid out. Staff was kind at check in. The room was good overall. Of not, it is next to a main street (Rosecrans) and the traffic flow can be a little noisy at times through the late night and early morning, if you’re on that side of the facility. I’d definitely stay at this property again.

While close to the harbor and restaurants, the "recent renovation" is nothing more than paint. The bed was rock hard. The a/c was EXTREMELY noisy and sounded like it was about to fail. First and last time staying there.

While the hotel is older it is decent condition and kept clean and neat which was nice. Bathroom was super tiny as well as the shower and hard to get into with a crutch or cane but otherwise the room was good and easily accessible. Would recommend for the harbor location

Staff was kind and helpful, they really made our stay lovely. This was a last minute booking and it was not regrettable to stay here! Only a block from Shelter Island with endless food/ bar options. I look forward to visiting this comfortable little property again!

So I'm going to brag on this property. Is it a four-star Radisson? Obviously not. You might drive by and think oh that looks sketchy. But it's actually a fantastic property, mainly due to the fact of the care given by the staff. I made a last minute reservation last night around 11:00 p.m. because my original booking didn't work out. They got me right in, gave me two delicious welcome cookies, The front desk manager let me know he was available 24/7 if I needed a single thing. The room was old but it was clean. Sheets were clean. Pillowcases. It was a very comfy bed. But they went above and beyond when they called me today and let me know that I had left my Kindle in the bed. And they're going to hold on to it for me while I'm in Mexico for the next two days. And when I come back on Thursday I can go pick it up. That's amazing service. Yes, if you leave something at a hotel, you can call and see if they found anything. But I didn't even realize I had left it. They found it and called me and that was just above and beyond service and I would definitely stay at this hotel again. Also, it's conveniently located right by the harbor and right by the airport.

Our room was at the end of a dark hallway. We heard people up and down the stairs all night. Bed was hard and pillows were lumpy. We just needed a bed to fall into while we waited for a canceled flight so for that it was ok. We were put into a handicapped room so the shower was waist high and the unlevel floor made the entire bathroom wet. I wouldn’t stay again

There was hair in the bathroom upon check-in, hair strands on the roof and wall, heater was an AC and wasn't turned on, room was freezing, it took hours to get the room heater up, heater filter needed to be replaced, unclean property!
