"It’s a good hostel for a short stay, the showers seem to be brand new and the place is quite clean. There was a really weird smell in my dorm though (it was a mixed dorm) and some people were REALLY noisy. One of them would pace back and forth between the bunks in the morning, which was bizarre. Some had had too much to drink and others seemed quite hostile. As if other people had it easier than them… Just because people don’t complain it doesn’t mean they have a cushy life. One of my gripes...

"A VERY nice place to stay. Close to the train station, but not so close to noise. Breakfast was really good, the staff were excellent, and was an easy walk to where we wanted to go. Would definitely stay again."

"If you can install a hand rail in the shower area were the bath tub is. In room 9, there is an extra small table & a chair, that's great but it will be better if you can add one small sofa kn the other side."

Man and women use the same toilet and shower so not feel comfortable , especially when just finished shower can not just walk out until put all proper clothes on and wet in shower could not dress up easy in the shower room. No curtain cover no privacy as every one can see eachother. "

"Amazing period featured property, staff excellent, checking, breakfast and bar staff all great. Breakfast choice great and cooked to perfection. Property has parking and literally 2 minutes walk to Clark’s village. Only downside for us was bed/pillows not overly comfortable, I guess could be personal choice. Alongside a small fridge, Coal Shed provide a range of tea and coffee options in the room with crockery and cutlery to hand. A shared kitchen was kept clean and well stocked with equipment and oil for cooking, if you decide to stay in. "Nice family pub. It can be a bit noisy during pub open hours but my family were very comfortable and had a great nights sleep. The bar below sells nice selection of beers and the play area kept our daughter busy so we could relax."
