"The room was excellent, very spacious and comfortable, especially the bed. The stairs are a bit of a challenge, especially up to the third floor where there is a narrow section, but it is a very old building so this is to be expected. My only criticism has to be the shower. We were up in room 23, and the water pressure is close to zero. Sink and toilet are fine, but the shower is pretty much unusable. This issue urgently needs resolving, but as I say apart from this it was really an excellent...

"Needed to stay in the area 4 nights for work, chose this hotel because it was attached to a pub so after a day's work wouldn't have to go into Ledbury to eat. The pub was not open and I didn't see any member of staff during the stay. I had a phone number which I used to ask for more milk and coffee in the room, came back to find a couple of sachets balanced on the windowsill. No one came int the room to clean, change towels, etc. "

"There's no doubt that The Boat Inn is a lovely, traditional pub in a super location, right on the banks of the Wye with good views of the river from the bedrooms above the pub. The surroundings are wooded and distinctly bosky, which is nice. There is a small village (Redbrook) with a village shop a few hundred metres away across an old railway bridge. "This property has so much potential and I really hope the owners are able to make it everything it could be. Unfortunately at the moment there's a lot of room for improvement and the price didn't reflect that. The cleanliness level was not brilliant and the space was extremely cold.
