"Our room overlooked a noisy busy main road and there was a railway line behind the hotel. There was no air conditioning in our room. We were told the bar would not open until 8.30. We couldn't book a table in the restaurant because a coach party was booked in but if there was room they would try to fit us in. There were no alternatives within walking distance. The photos of the hotel are very misleading. I wouldn't be surprised if they had been photo-shopped!"

In house restaurant closed the 3 nights we stayed. Had to travel 10 kms to find an evening meal. Advertises that it’s 25kms from Bilbao, when it was more like 35km. Extremely noisy from any activity in the passage. Cleaning staff rolling their trolley up & down the passage from a very early hour. Best...

"The hotel itself is nice enough but after a long day's travelling, we were very annoyed to find out that neither the bar nor the restaurant are open in the off-season so rather than an evening relaxing at the hotel, we had to go into the nearest village where we were lucky enough to find a bar where the landlord was willing to cook us a nice but basic meal to go with a few drinks.
