"The property is indeed unique- a very modern and nicely fitted out hotel, hidden away in a crumbling atmospheric palazzo. My bed was comfortable, my water hot, my sockets all working. It fely very safe, breakfast was nice, the staff excptional. Very close to the station, but on a main street in the old city. Only disadvantage: no lift. So for people who can't do stairs, it's ill advised. I loved the hotel and would certainly choose it again."

"Great location, appreciated the welcoming touches available 24 hours a day in the common room - automatic coffee maker uses fresh ground beans, fresh fruit & sesame seed homemade biscotti. The rooms are well appointed & very large. The beds are very comfortable & our hosts were very helpful with dining recommendations. "

"great place to disconnect from busy Cefalu in the summer. Beautiful property with a great pool and views of the mountains. Dinner was homemade and very good. "

"I made this reservation with Hotels.com. I was not told that this was a bed and breakfast that was inside of an apartment building. We spent one whole day trying to find it. When we finally figured out where it was The front door was locked. We couldn’t figure out how to get in and weren’t able to talk to anyone. The biggest problem was lack of communication and language barrier. There were a lot of things that we were not told. Such as how to get into the building or contact the owner to let us...

"Expedia should clearly state that this is a B&B and not a hotel. The owner(s) seem not to be familiar with how to manage such a place. Unless you pass out from drinking, or for other reasons, there is no way you can sleep in this place. And that's why you pay for: TO SLEEP AND REST during the night. The rooms windows are facing a main street, and there is not enough space here to describe all the noise sources. "We stayed for 1 night en route to Cefalu. It's quite off the beaten track with some windy roads. Our room was clean and tidy, basic but spacious with air conditioning!
