"The staff at St George’s are very friendly and go out their way to provide an excellent service, nothing is too much trouble . Breakfast was plentiful with lots of choice and served by friendly staff. My only slight niggle was the shower in our room I found it didn’t have sufficient force but I managed. "Lovely big old hotel in a great location. Great queensize bed. Bar and restaurant on site. Very good value for money. Lots of families with children as there's a swimming pool. Staff are very nice and helpful."

"Staff were fantastic. Hotel building and location were amazing. Great views across to the straights and mountains. Breakfast was really good, dinner was ok. Main issue was that we were not in the main building but a separate one (lodge). Walls there are paper thin unfortunately and could hear everything in room next door. Boiler from room nextdoor was also super loud. Not great for 200 a night! I'm sure the rooms in the main building are much better so would be good to come back and stay in them...
