"Good Hostel...the staff is very kind. One thing to know is that they have discontinued the breakfast and have a "vending machine breakfast". It's ok...but it is good to know this upfront as they used to do a full breakfast spread. Otherwise....it is a great place, clean, and in an easy to get around area."

"Not the best location, there wasn’t any toilet paper or hand soap. Had to wait over 10 minutes for someone to come on reception to check us in. Very rude and dismissive staff. Rooms were cold, no hot water in the shared bathroom. Walls were thin so could hear a lot of noise from other rooms and outside the door. "

"Budapest was quite full on this holiday weekend, but Ace Hostel approved our room request. However, when we arrived and found the address, it was a large apartment building with no indication of Ace Hostel. Another group of 3 people with a booking arrived soon after. We called the contact number and were told someone would soon come over. After waiting over 30 minutes, in the rain, no one had come, so we called again. This time, we were told to go to a nearby McDonalds where a woman would meet...
