"Hotel Principado is a small, simple hotel near the Zona Rosa in Mexico City; For the past fifteen years I have visited there at least twice a year and absolutely love it. I've known four of the staff members for all those years and they treat me like family when I come to visit. It's a lovely, shady old fashioned neighborhood lined with trees and walking distance to anything you might want or need. In fact, it's walking distance to some of the finest restaurants - like the Casa de Mariachis...

"This was my second time staying at this property. I like its style and comfort and above all I love the location. The complaint I have was that its front desk is only staffed part time. I'm not sure if it's Low season but the hotel was deserted. Other than the Porter there were days I didn't see another soul. I had an issue with the tablet that comes with every room. It helps you control TV, lights, fan, etc. It stopped working and I couldn't get fan to work. But there was no one at front desk...
