"Hilton Zihuatanejo is an amazing property. We had an ocean view studio. The bedroom was very nice but the jewel was the huge balcony patio with dipping pool. The view was so gorgeous and peaceful. All the staff were so helpful and welcoming. Loved the swim up bar and pool right next to the beach. Several restaurants within short walk and town close enough to walk or take a short taxi ride. Definitely would return to this beautiful hotel resort!!"

"This is a really great property. We had a roomy suite with a sitting area, a large bathroom, and a very cute balcony with a jacuzzi tub and loungers. The hotel has great staff and is so close to the downtown/"Centro" area - we were able to walk to many restaurants and more. The beach was warm FYI! Pool area was great. Yes, there are MANY stairs. Something to consider. The hotel is also on top of a hill so there is a steep climb coming from the centro. "

"Great value. Friendly and attentive staff. Quiet and steps away from the beach. Gives you the option for breakfast included. Small pool for guests that has one of the best views of the bay. Beautiful sunsets from your room or down in the restaurant.Walkable to town along a paved walkway along the water. You don't have to break the bank to enjoy your time. Spend the day exploring some of the markets and enjoying bites of food along many of the side streets off of the beach area. If you don't want to stay in Ixtapa,(which is only a 10 min taxi ride away) you won't miss a thing in Zihuatanejo. Will return again and again."

"Wonderful boutique hotel"

"Authentic, lovely boutique hotel with friendly welcoming and service from all, especially Fernanda. My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our 3 night stay in The Estrella Room. The bed was so comfortable that my husband joked about looking at the mattress to see the brand name. The hotel had a great layout so that each of the 7 rooms are private. Convenient location to many restaurants and cafes and a short 3 min walk to Playa Ropa. Our fav dinner was up the hill at La Spuma. We also enjoyed lounging at The Thompson beachfront property for an afternoon. We would def stay at La Villa Luz again in a heartbeat. "

"Easy to get to Located near all shopping a restaurants where locals shop and eat as opposed to tourists. Area felt super safe. The room was simple but clean and comfy. The only negative is a lukewarm shower."
