"Darren has a nice little place that is in a convenient location for getting to or from the airport to start or end your trip, or even to use as a base for doing day trips. The room was comfortable and clean and the area is safe. You do hear planes when they fly over, but that is to be expected when you stay near the airport."

"This little family hotel is awesome! They are so friendly, calming, attentive and honest. While the place is simple and basic the atmosphere is great and it is so clean and quiet. The wife is a good cook. She made us dinner and breakfast. Al tasty and since it was a family affair, ie, eating with others, it was a nice way to enter the country. "This is a reasonably priced boutique hotel close to the airport. They offer an airport shuttle for $5 (only leaving from the hotel) and breakfast is available for $11. The hotel works well for a quick overnight stay in San Jose before flying out or when flying back into the country and not wanting to make the long drive home at night. The hotel is behind a tall motorized gate and also within a small cul de sac that is also gated so it feels safe. We did not partake of the breakfast so we can't...

"Our room was very spacious and on the first floor. We even had a balcony at the other end of the room. The pool was small and a disabled person in our party could not get in it because there were no handrails. The setting was up in the mountains north of Alajuela and the air was fresh at night. "It was my first trip to Costa Rica and after a 9 day photo tour my friends and I stayed here for rest and enjoyment. It was the perfect place for this!
