"First the house was beautiful, the pool was great. I didn't realize it was about 2 hours from the airport, but as stated in the listing you will definitely need a car. I would also plan to have groceries delivered or someone to purchase them before your stay. The house manager is very friendly. Our flight was delayed and he waited until we arrived. "We decided to come back to Costa Rica after 25 years when we came for our honeymoon. We saw this house on VRBO and fell in love with the view. "So, I want to be careful when writing this review. I’m not going to slam this place and say it’s total junk. It’s not. It is also not for anyone fancy, or anyone looking to enjoy a place near Sámara, and treat it as a home base. We stayed one night, and that was it. "This villa saved our trip. We went to CR during tropical storm Sara and it rained all day every day and unable to do any excursions due to the rain so spent most of our time at the villa. We were 9 adults, 2 four year olds, and an infant and our trip would've been absolutely miserable if the villa hadn't been so amazing. "Nothing but good things to stay about nosara and this place me, my husband and our 1 year old got to call home for a week and a half. Great, quiet location with beach, coffee shop and restaurants walking distance- had sunset dinners at la Luna multiple times!
