"This place was absolutely wonderful and I don’t have one negative thing to say. The rooms were clean, large and comfortable. The grounds were lush and gorgeous. The water slide was super fun. The staff especially at the front desk and restaurant were kind, accommodating and very attentive. I travelled with 3 boys ages 12, 10 and 7. I would highly recommend this place in La Fortuna."

"The house we stayed in has beautiful woodwork and was spacious but also a bit treacherous with a stairway with no handrail and a step up part way into the living area. The beach is lovely and it was not touristy when we there (during heavy rainfall). Howler monkeys entertained us frequently. The maid did a very good job. "We had an amazing stay over Christmas at this beautiful home. All I can say is wow! It is breathtaking when you get out of the car and see the beautiful outdoor living space right on the ocean! The owners were very easy to communicate with and timely in their reaponse. The house staff was very helpful and kept the location clean and comfortable. "We had a wonderful time at this property. House and groundswere beautiful and well kept. Loved hearing the howler monkeys in the morning, and our kids enjoyed the pool. Was very private and felt safe. Enjoyed being away from the noise in Sámara. A couple small upgrades would be nice in the kitchen, the coffee maker took a very long time to brew probably needs to be replaced and there are two blenders but neither work. It is equipped with the basics only, so be sure to bring what you think you may need. You must have a 4x4 to get to the house. As others mentioned in their reviews, the hill is very steep and rugged.
