"We stayed at Spirit of the Lodge and liked its beautiful location. Surrounded by nature and right by the river. The staff were friendly and happy to help, which we appreciated throughout our stay. That said, there were a few aspects that fell short of expectations, especially given the premium price. "The owners of this hotel are incredible and go out of their way to make sure you have a wonderful stay. The hotel is located down a side street and is very quaint and lovely. Once you walk in the gate the smell of the flowers is incredible! The owners prepared a good breakfast for us with cereal, eggs, fruit and bread with butter and jam. They also let us keep our luggage in the hotel until we left ollantaytambo that night."
