"Great location, newly renovated house, management was very responsive and helpful, only issue is the sulphur smell in the water. It’s hard to drink the water or take shower with such a strong smell. Hope they fix it somehow. Otherwise an outstanding place with amazing views right from inside the house "

"This little cottage was perfect for my Grass Valley stay. The cottage was clean and well equipped. It was a very comfortable spot. "

"Everyone loved this location. The property is fantastic for families and large groups. The water situation is a huge bummer. We used bottled water for everything, including brushing our teeth. The owners are communicative and friendly. The dishes, utensils and cookware are cleaned and maintained by people renting like us, and they were all filthy. Just be prepared to bring multiple jugs of water and I recommend disposable plates, utensils etc. Its a shame bc the place is basically otherwise...

"My spouse and I wanted to stay in this area to stargaze with our basic telescope. The cottage has a beautiful view of the sky. A couple of bowls in the cupboard has been put away without being cleaned first, but our stay was otherwise great. Nicole was very responsive and kind."

"I am retired and have a bad knee. But my aches and pains were less while out by the pond. I love the quiet and nature showing itself everywhere. Great site for star watching too. We saw one shooting star the first night. Good glamping. Even my old dog, Emma, loved walking around and around the camper on the leash. "

"I hosted 8 guests for a yoga & wellness retreat. Alicia set us up with options for massage and horseback riding and was responsive with any questions. The trails are beautifully marked and we wandered through the woods down to the creek and waterfall. The campsites are groomed and marked clearly with a modern and updated bathhouse just for them. The rooms are clean and cozy. So many towels and blankets for extra convenience. The beautiful outdoor deck was perfect for sunset views, sound bath...

"We had the best weekend having a birthday celebration! We spent most of the time at the house on the water! We fished from the dock every night and caught a couple of catfish! We had dinners out on the patio and used the gas fire pit! We played lots of pool! We paddle boarded! This VRBO has it all! It was clean, had all the kitchen essentials! We absolutely loved this place and are already planning our next trip! The host was amazing! 10/10 recommend! "

"We attended a wedding nearby and extended family stayed at the property. We loved everything about it! Super comfortable beds, everything we needed in the kitchen, great location, private back yard and a well cared for home. We paid extra to have the pool heated during our stay and that was wonderful. "We stayed in Alta Sierra with a big group of family, all different ages. The bbq and outdoor seating were lovely on the warm summer nights. The home had everything we needed and we had a great time."

"Meeting up with my college roommate from Virginia. It was the perfect little spot to hang out and catch up. We loved downtown Grass Valley, the bars, eateries and shops were awesome. "
