"This lodging was perfect for visiting the park. Facility was clean, quiet, our room was spacious, & the staff very friendly. They let us know about evening lantern event, and breakfast available for purchase at 9am in a cafe near by. Location in the park is convienent for some travelers without transportation visiting the park. It was a short hike from the bus stop at the museum. "Great location for Nara main attractions. Easy to find restaurants, next to a market, short walk to Nara Park. The place is new, easy to find and easy to use in general. Few things could be improved. Check in instructions were sent in Japanese only and we needed some codes to access the place so it wasn’t straight forward. Towels were super small and the futon super thin you basically sleep on top of the carpet. We have stayed in plenty of futon and tatami hotels in our trip and this one was...

"I telephoned the contact number the day before I arrived. I was given a padlock number. When I arrived at the guest house, I unlocked the padlock to discovered it was like a bedsit accommodation. It was not a guesthouse or even a hotel. There was nothing much to do in Kitanode and it took about 1.5 hours to get to Osaka. So all in all I wouldn't stay here again because it was too far out from Osaka and as I was on my own I felt isolated."

"Mr.Nakamori is very nice and will pick you up from the train station to take you to the house. It is in a very peaceful and quiet residential area, you can experience the feeling of living in Japan! Everything was very clean and comfortable, I definitely recommend staying here!"

"We stayed for only one night in the private room. The room has more a homey than modern feel and that suits us fine. It is reasonably roomy as it has a sitting area with a small sofa and a single lounge chair. The beds are also comfortable. The location is great and very close to the Kintetsu Nara train station. We'll definitely consider staying there next time if we visit Nara again."

"This traditional Japanese in was a delight to stay in. The tatami room was a delight, the staff was very attentive and gracious. The location in Yoshino was very good for walking. The food was excellent and the hot springs provided perfect nightly relaxation."

"I wish I could stay in this hotel every night of my trip to Japan. Rooms were spacious and nicely appointed. Bed was comfortable and the amenities were spectacular. Dinner buffet was delicious. Short 10 minute walk to the train station. "

"Sugoi!! Having travelled to Japan six times now, and stayed in practically every type of accommodation from family ryokans, hostels, business hotels and big “western” style hotels…this by far has been the best. Why? The amazingly friendly and helpful staff. The room design has a nice traditional twist for a modern hotel. Would recommend a lake view room too (great for people watching and having a little deck in a hotel in Japan is unheard of). Highly recommend. "
