"I booked a stay of 2 nights and 3 days. The first night I was not satisfied because the food I ordered was not what I ordered and was just regular food. The second night I was satisfied because the food I ordered was what I ordered. The first night's food was cheaper than what I paid for and there was no apology or refund from anyone. Everything else was satisfactory. "

"Chalet Ivy Jozankei went above and beyond our expectations. The deluxe room was spacious and clean. We enjoyed every details they had in the room, common area and restaurant. The staff were all super friendly and nice. We will definitely recommend Chalet Ivy to all of our friends and family. The dinner and breakfast meals were amazing. We had such an incredible time here that We didn’t want to leave! "

"Old hotel but well maintained. Our room was very hot on arrival and it took several hours to cool down. Other than that, it was perfect. The dinner and breakfast sets were delicious. The staff were attentive and friendly. The public baths were nice and clean. We had in room private bath with a mountain view and it was amazing. The parks around the hotel were small but beautiful. We caught the light illumination show and it was nicely done. We skipped the dam and lake because of the rain but...

"This was the best hotel experience in our Hokkaido trip! Service was top-notched and the staff was treated you with genuine care, give us home feelings and very patient even if we can’t speak Japanese. Food was freshly and delicious prepared in course for both dinner and breakfast. Private onsen is well-maintained. Definitely will stay again! "

"Exceptional hospitality in a beautiful, calm environment. The hotel is beautifully maintained. Our room had traditional tatami mats, a view into a small garden and a glorious bathroom with a mini-onsen bath, supplied direct from the source. "Very friendly staff greeted me and when I leave, they run with umbrella and waited on me. Room wa spacious, clean, had fridge with cold water, hot water kettle and tea sets. The room does not have bath or toilet but it did not bother me. Bath was made of hinoki tub, clean with amenities. I went there twice but I had all for myself. This inn has only 8 rooms so not get crowded. Food is the main hit. It was so fresh and delicious. You need to like fresh raw fish though. I din’t Know if they...

"Luxurious glamping experience. 2 double bedding for 4 in tent is very comfortable, charging points for electronics well positioned at bedside table, impressed that tent comes with air conditioner n towels. Felt safe with no issue about security. Common toilets n bathroom a short walk away n has all amenities needed. Dinner n breakfast are delicious with free flow of water/juices/coffee till 11pm. A big thank you to all staff enabling such nice experience!"

"Had a pleasent stay and closeby main attractions. Do note that the stay is on top of the hills so its difficult to get to by foot. However, the view is very nice. "
