"We only stayed in Otaru for one night, but we would definitely stay here again. Hotel staff was friendly and accommodating. We got there early so they held our luggage for us and delivered it to our room while we were out. They even gave us umbrellas to use when they realized we didn’t have one. There is a Family Mart, shops, and places to eat within walking distance of the hotel. Bonus, they also have 2 washer/dryer machines and an ice machine on the second floor. "

"Hotel was very clean. Had a ski in ski out location. Easy transport to the airport with a shuttle to Grand Hirafu Welcome Center. Property is really modern and clean. Love love love their onsen. I stayed at Park Hyatt next door too, and their onsen at Nikko Style was on par."

"Great, small hotel in a sleepy very small city. Otaru is absolutely fantastic. Amazing food, but don’t expect late nights out. Clean, comfortable room and a super helpful staff. Ski room was a nice feature. No free parking, but for a city, and it wasn’t too pricey. 1000 yen/night. The only thing it’s missing is an onsen, but there are a few public ones close by. We stayed here while skiing Kiroro; great small mountain. Both Otaru and Kiriro were perfect for a local feel and not having a western resort vibe. 👍"
