"I came here in December and stayed for a significant portion of December. The staff here are nice and friendly, the communal area is kept clean and is in good shape. The communal bathrooms are likewise cleaned daily. They also do a Christmas party at the hostel if you're there during Christmas like I was. Walking distance to a JR station as well as the Hibiya line. An hours walk to Tokyo Sky Tree. Overall a very nice experience! Thank you!"

"Very good location that you can walk to MingDong about anywhere. The location is #1. Hotel, don't have too much expectation of the facility. It's an old hotel, if you are looking for a fancy/new/clean one, then move on. If you are looking for a not expensive and very convenient one, then that is it."

"The only good thing about this place is its location near bus stops and in the centre of Dongdaemun. But everything else is pretty bad. The room is tiny with no closets to hang clothes, and if you have suitcases, there's hardly any room to move around. The shower situation is weird because there's just a hose and you have to shower in the same space as the toilet, so everything (including your towels) gets wet. "Loved how close we were to everything! Location is very ideal we found! Room size was not bad at all compared to other places! Room could use a good cleaning there was a lot of dirt and dust everywhere even found some on the corner of our bed when we checked in, bathroom had some mould and there are no elevators so had to carry all our luggage up and down the stairs. I think with some renovations this place would be excellent! Would comeback for the location 😊"

"The view is fantastic, and the management is very professional and helpful before, during and after your stay. Also, the yard in front is big and has a lot of toys and equipment for kids and family to use. The one thing I would take note of is that you cannot control the room heat on your own, because it is a pension and not a hotel. "Super comfortable large room in a nice area. Gym was really good for a hotel. Manager permitted a convenient late check-out, which I am thankful. The only area of improvement was breakfast (it was western style). I definitely recommend the hotel."

"The perfect place to stay for convenience to markets, palaces, and dining. Wonderful friendly, and helpful staff. The room was kept very clean, and serviced daily. Soundproof rooms. "The hotel is located in prime location of Gangnam district, but includes little bit of walking from nearby subway station. It also offers free breakfast which was actually eatable and better than what I imagined. The bathroom was little tiny though and reminded me of those airplane restrooms. For one to two day stays, it would be okay considering the budget and everything but anything longer that, I would sugesst somewhere else."

"Amazing customer service and kind staff. Rooms were large and very comfortable. They offered an iPad to choose additional luxuries like a pillow menu, mattress toppers, robes or additional water. Service was top notch. The buffet was beyond impressive. My guest had a gluten allergy and the restaurant manager went out of her way to bring over the chef and walk her around the entire area to show her the safe options for her to have as well offering to make her custom dishes. They were just amazing. We loved our stay. "
