"Would absolutely recommend this hostel! The staff made an effort to keep the place very clean despite it being an older property. The beds and bathrooms were comfortable to us. The free breakfast is much appreciated and I overall enjoyed my stay."

"I came here in December and stayed for a significant portion of December. The staff here are nice and friendly, the communal area is kept clean and is in good shape. The communal bathrooms are likewise cleaned daily. They also do a Christmas party at the hostel if you're there during Christmas like I was. Walking distance to a JR station as well as the Hibiya line. An hours walk to Tokyo Sky Tree. Overall a very nice experience! Thank you!"

"Nice stay, well located and easy to get around. It was quite noisy, especially at night (drains, other rooms etc). Bathroom is a wet room, not a shower but this wasn’t the end of the world. For the price, worth it! Lots of coffee shops / restaurants etc nearby. "

It's an old hotel, if you are looking for a fancy/new/clean one, then move on. If you are looking for a not expensive and very convenient one, then that is it."

"The only good thing about this place is its location near bus stops and in the centre of Dongdaemun. But everything else is pretty bad. The room is tiny with no closets to hang clothes, and if you have suitcases, there's hardly any room to move around. The shower situation is weird because there's just a hose and you have to shower in the same space as the toilet, so everything (including your towels) gets wet. "Amazing customer service and kind staff. Rooms were large and very comfortable. They offered an iPad to choose additional luxuries like a pillow menu, mattress toppers, robes or additional water. Service was top notch. The buffet was beyond impressive. My guest had a gluten allergy and the restaurant manager went out of her way to bring over the chef and walk her around the entire area to show her the safe options for her to have as well offering to make her custom dishes. They were just amazing. We loved our stay. "

"Hotel was clean, nearby the train station and staff was very helpful and friendly! Room was also big enough for 3 pax and had various amenities such as stove, washing machine and airdresser. But do note that there is no dryer and we did not see any utensils in the room. "
