"FANTASTIC! I was worried when I saw that the words "El Albergue" translated to "hostel" but this was no hostel. I had a beautiful room on the ground floor. It was completely silent after about 9 pm. I arranged through the hotel for a taxi to come and pick me up in Cusco. It was easy and seamless. The room was clean and the free breakfast was lovely. I would 100% stay here again and would recommend this place to anyone, especially because of it's convenient location directly inside the train station! "

"Excellent hotel between Cusco and Machu Picchu with plenty to see in and around Ollantaytambo. The staff was amazing and very friendly, always accommodating. We left early in the morning and they even offered to prepare us a breakfast “lunch box” for our trip during the day, this was very appreciated by my friends and me. Carlos who drove us from the Cusco airport to the hotel is also a tour guide with plenty of knowledge about the history of the region. We booked 3 day trips with him and each of them were very interesting. A truly unforgettable experience!!"

Having breakfast included was a bonus and the service each morning was always so friendly and so nice to be greeted with a warm smile. The rooms are big and bright, wifi strong, and hot water in the showers is fantastic. Highly recommend!"

Very authentic colonial Spanish architectural designs and preservation of the old church , have their own museum with collections of old artifacts. They arrange private car transport to pick me up from Ollantaytambo town and to drive me back to Cusco . "
